Biography
Born in Bac Thai Province, North of Vietnam. He is a painter, associate professor. Graduated from the Fine Arts College of Viet Nam, 1957-1962 entering class. Specialized in silk painting. His works are realistic and poetic. Landscape and daily life in mountainous areas are his main subjects.

Silver medal at the National Fine Arts Exhibition, 1990.

Won a class prize at the National Fine Arts Exhibition, 1980.
Prize- winner at the Triennial International Exhibition of Realistic Painting in Sofia, 1979.
2nd prize at the national Fine Arts Exhibition, 1976.
A class prize at the National Fine Arts Association, 1st tenure (1968-1983).
Member of the Executive Committee of Viet Nam Fine Arts Association of realistic painting in Sofia, 1979.
Held group exhibition in Ha Noi, 1965.
Has works in the Fine Arts Museum of Viet Nam, Moscow Museum of Oriental Arts and in private collections at home and abroad
