Biography

I have always had an interest in fine art and used to enjoy the painting and drawing classes in school. As retirement approached, I decided now was the time. A few lessons in oil painting started me on the road to a passion I can't put aside.

Watercolor, my favourite medium, came along later as it is so clean and convenient to use. My interest is in the seacost, fishing villages, lighthouses, and covered bridges of Atlantic Canada and so I try to capture their mood and charm in my work.
