Biography

BORN : 1959, Dehradun U.P..Diploma in Fine Arts from the Fine Art College, Indore. 'One-Man-Shows' in Goa. Jabalpur and Indore, Paticipated in various groups shows in Mumbai. New Delhi, Chennai, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore and Bhopal; 2nd and 3rd Bharat Bwavan Biennial exhibitions at Bhopal; National Art exhibitions, New Delhi; Miniature format art show. Sans Tache Art Gallery, Mumbai. Works invited to be exhibited in the international art show entitled. 'Encountering others' held at Kessel, Germany - 1992. All India Kalidas Art Exhibitions at Ujjain. Won awards in 1981, 84, and 85. Took part in Madhya Pradesh Annual Art Exhibitions and won the State Award in the years 1986-87 and 1992. In 1983 won Raza Award. He is the recipient of M.P. Govt. Amrita Shergil Fellowship and Government of India, Human Resource Development Ministry's Junior and Senior Fellowships. Lives and works in Bhopal.
For his artistic acumen and excellence he is granted m.p. Government?s Amritashergill fellowship for the year 1993-94. His works are in collection of kalldas Akademi, Ujjain, Nehru Youth Centre. Ghaziabad, Goa Art Akademi, Goa, Lalbhagh Palace, Indore and in Roopankar Museum of Fine Arts. Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal.
At present Bhatty holds the position of the Design incharge in the Design Unit of Roopankar Bharat Bhavan.
