Biography

(1868-1965)
Born near Claremont, Ontario, and an elder brother of Tom Thomson. Studied law at the University of Washington, Seattle in 1901 and from 1906 studied at the Art Students League, New York and Old Lyme, Connecticut. He moved to Owen Sound, Ontario and painted landscapes.
