Biography

A Cape Breton native, Anna is proprietor of Caribou Lodge B&B and an avid water color artist with her studio/gallery in her Victorian heritage home near Mt. St. Vincent University on Armada Dr., in Halifax, N.S. Sharing her studio with Toni and Shannon; her beloved dogs, Anna's primary subjects are wildlife and domestic animals, although she has done portraits on commission.
Working from photographs and personal observation: the character, dignity & mood of her subjects are conveyed in her work.
Anna's paintings are in private collections in Germany, England, the United States and throughout Canada; and have been chosen for awards by the N.S. Wildlife Federation and Tourism Nova Scotia.
