Biography

Alice Meshkova, was born on 2 March in 1996 in Volgograd. At her age of 5 Alice has managed to learn and to do a lot. For example, she has already painted nearly 300 pieces of art, learned to write, to read and to count, to speak English a little and even try to write poetry. Alice lives with her mother Sophia in Volgograd, and attends a kindergarten.
Alice first tried her abilities for painting when she was only 1 YEARS OLD.
At 3,5 she was a laureate of the International Exhibition "The Wayto Church", the winner of different children's competitions, such as: "The Little Volga", "My mother is the best", "The Portrait of a Beautiful Dame", "The Famous Stars of Culture".
On 31th International Exhibition in Japan Alice was awarded with the silver medal and with the diploma for her artwork, which she had made at 4. On January, 24, 2001 in Volgograd Children's Art Gallery Alice^s Personal Exhibition took place, where her 122 works were exhibited. Alice paints using different art techniques. She paints in gauche, watercolors, oil pastel, in a pen, tries to paint in tempera on the carton, and she paints on the big-formatted standard pieces of paper 50x70. Recently in Volzski town Alice was awarded with the honored medal for creativity - "The Bird of Happiness". Volgog Tad on September, 8 this year Alice was announced a winner of the adult competition "The Provincial Muse" in the nomination "The Discovery of the Year". In the New Experimental Theatre there was a show devoted to the nominates of "The Provincial Muse", and Alice was conducting on this evening and also pained the decorations of the background of the scene. In October 2001 in Moscow there will be two Alice's Personal Exhibitions. The first one will be at The State Duma of Russian Federation from 8 to 12 of October, the other one at The International Children's Art Gallery since 15 October.
2002 - a personal exhibition in the Union of writers RF In Volgograd;
2002 - the personal exhibition is included in the program of carrying out of the International festival " Architecture - 2002 " (Moscow, 25.09. - 12.10.02.)
2002 - the winner of the international children's architectural - art competition " the Ship of architecture ";
2002 - the winner in the All-Russia competition " the Warm house " (Gazprom).
